Hanover College Remembers
At 3:51 pm on April 3, 1974, the Hanover College campus was struck by a tornado that devastated the campus and local community. 50 years later we remember those effected by this event, particularly the 11 Jefferson County residents who lost their lives.
The Hanover College Archives is looking to preserve the memories of that day by documenting stories in our 1974 Tornado Remembrance Project. You can share your memories here: https://forms.office.com/r/Df6snaJHki
Photographs and other materials from that day are available here.
