Abstract
  • The purpose of this study was to investigate attitudes towards vegetarianism on the Hanover College campus and the local Hanover community among subjects varying in age from mid-teens to 70+ years. The significance is based in the increasing level of interest in vegetarian diets over the past few decades, the many health benefits of the lifestyle, and an understanding of why the support for vegetarianism overall is still fairly low.
