- Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of altitude simulation on physiological responses. Altitude simulation was imposed in two ways; restriction of air flow with a training mask, or with a Hypoxico Everest Summit II Altitude Generator that reduces the percentage of oxygen as altitude increases, creating a hypoxic condition.
