Historical Note: Wilma Lindberg graduated from Hanover College in 1946. Growing up in Wayne County, Michigan, she played alto horn, was an active member of the women's basketball team, and spent time camping and horse racing. At Hanover, Wilma became a member and vice-president of Phi Mu sorority, played on the women's basketball and hockey teams, and was a member and vice-president of the Science Club. She also served on the staff of the Hanover Sportsgirl, Triangle, and Renovah. She went on to become an associate professor and chairman of the occupational therapy department at the University of Alabama. Wilma Lindberg died 7 August 2011 in Alabama.
