Photograph of a large rock known as Niagara Boulder. Located on the Hanover College campus in front of the President's House on the Crowe Valley Hiking Trail. Andrew H. Young is leaning against another boulder looking away from daughter Jessie Young. Andrew Harvey Young was a 1871 graduate of Hanover College. He served as principal of the Hanover Academy, or Preparatory School, from 1872-73. He became a Hanover College professor in the natural sciences in 1879 and taught until his death in 1926. Jessie Young was his eldest daughter. William A. Caldwell was a photographer from Indianapolis, Indiana. He took photographs of Hanover College and the scenery in and nearby Hanover and Madison, Jefferson County, Indiana.
