Scope and Content: The collection consists of typed minutes from original minute books for the New School and Old School Synod of Indiana, the Synods of Indiana Southern and Indiana Northern, the Synods of Indiana North and the Synod of Indiana (1880s), and the Synod Wabash. All of the records document synod activity in Indiana and are representative of the divided schools of Presbyterianism in Indiana until the 1880s when the Synod of Indiana became the sole synod of the state.
