Historical Information: James Thomas McManaman was born to Morris W. and Bessie (Bowles) McManaman on 21 November 1917 in Harrison, OH. He graduated from Hanover College in 1939, where he was active with the Sigma Chi fraternity, Bat Club, Science Club, and baseball. McManaman served in the United States Army during World War II from 1942-1946. He earned a law degree from the University of Indianapolis and worked as a lawyer in Lawrenceburg, IN. On 28 June 1947, McManaman married Carolyn Marie Elliott in Guilford, IN. James McManaman died 19 July 2002 in Lawrenceburg, IN.
