Scope and Content: Records of the Indianapolis Mayer Chapel in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana, dated 1941-1969. The collection documents meeting minutes, lists of officers and members, disciplinary issues, financial reports, annual reports, membership changes, lists of elders and deacons, and church history. The collection also includes vital statistics information, including baptisms, marriages and deaths.

Historical Note: The Mayer Chapel was established 1894 by the Second Presbyterian Church to support the mission work of the church on the South side of Indianapolis. Much of the funding was provided by Ferdinand Mayer. The chapel continued to operate until the 1960s.
