Letter to Esther Crowe from John Finley Crowe, December 11, 1814

Public Deposited

In this letter to Esther Crowe from John Finley Crowe, John is letting his emotions get the best of him. Rather than paying close attention to the well being of his wife and child, he is paying more attention to his own feelings. Midway in the letter he begins to question their connection and suggest that maybe Esther is beginning to love their son more than him. In conclusion he expresses how excited he is to meet the baby and finally see Esther after a full session.

The Crowe Family Papers Digitization project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
