Scope and Content: The Cullen B. Barnes Photographs collection contains photographs collected by Cullen B. Barnes, an attendee of Hanover College from 1913-1914. Topics within the photographs include Hanover College, students, student clubs, glee club, and the Madison State Hospital (Cragmont).

Historical Note: Hanover College was founded in 1827 by John Finley Crowe, a Presbyterian minister, in southern Indiana as a Presbyterian Seminary. The college was the first private college in the state of Indiana. Cullen Bryant Barnes attended Hanover College from 1913-1914. He was a Phi Delta Theta during his time at the college.
