Public DepositedScope and Content: Testimonials collected by Frank Baker in 1974 in the weeks after a tornado struck the Hanover College campus.
Historical Note: On April 3rd, 1974, Hanover College was hit by a massive tornado, which was part of the 1974 Super Tornado Outbreak. The storm destroyed much of the campus, including the Phi Mu sorority house and many other buildings. Students were sent home the following day, and the community began to rebuild the campus. Frank Baker was a journalism professor at Hanover College from 1946-1975.
