Scope and Content: Notebooks of the YMCA and YWCA clubs at Hanover College, dated 1870-1947. Records include meeting minutes, officer lists, membership lists, prayers, constitutions, handbooks, worship songs, correspondence and memorabilia.

Historical Note: The Young Men Mutual Association (later YMCA) was organized at Hanover College on 19 September 1870. The YMCA hall was completed at Hanover in 1883. In April 1885 seventeen women formed the Y.W.C.A. at Hanover.
