A letter from Mary Ann Crowe to her parents to assuage their concerns for her well-being after she gave birth to her son. Additionally, Mary expresses concern for her mother's health which she learned through her brother Samuel. Mary also discusses a Caroline who is visiting, and is eager to go home; and that there was a fair bit of consternation finding a place for Caroline to stay. As well, Mary describes the health of their friends. Mary also spends a lot of the letter to tell her parents about her daughter Mary Esther.
