A letter from Esther Alexander Crowe to John Finley Crowe over life in Hanover. Esther devotes some time in the letter to relay the events that transpired to their family. Events such as the river freezing over and their son being delayed from traveling because of it. Esther mentions a boating exhibition that occured the same day as the letter was written. She mentions having few interactions with anyone outside of visiting the sick. Additionally the letter discusses that a sickness has come around Hanover, but that the Crowes have not gotten it yet.
