Biographical Note: Don Albert Watters was born 21 December 1912 in Ravenna, Ohio to Albert Edward Watters and Florence A. (Gray) Watters. He earned a B.A. from Hiram College, an M.A. from the University of North Carolina, and a Ph.D. from Ohio State University. Dr. Watters taught Speech and Theatre at Hanover College from 1937-1962. During World War II, he served in the military beginning in 1942, and was sent to Europe from 1944-1946. Dr. Watters was married to Mollie Jean Dorsey on 29 May 1942 in Kokomo, Indiana. Don Watters died in New York on 13 October 1968.
