The Ohio River from Hanover College

Public Deposited

Barbara (1931-2015). American artist.

Pictured is a view of the Ohio River along the point at Hanover College. It is the first print of a 750 print series by Barbara Trimble. Unlike most adaptations of the point this is from a different view point nearest to the Levett Career Center, more commonly known as Hendricks Hall. The acclaim from the point is that one can see The Ohio River bend three times from a specific area. However, there are multiple places along the point that this can be done, Barbara captured that unique perspective in her original ink drawings that later became prints.
