According to a note left by the donor, plans for the house were drew up by her mother, who was a graduate of home economics graduate of Purdue University. All lumber cut from the farm. Barn was built first so lumber for the house could be seasoned. House was built in 1922. Buildings from left to right: chicken house, wood house, home, out house, smoke house, garage, corn and wheat crib, barn, and pig house. Note on verso: Another picture by Uncle Dave Johnson of Madison, Ind. My father Robert J. Craig sold the farm after mother died in 1953. Mother designed the house. Barn was built first as there was another smaller house.
