This work is a rectangular color lithograph on brown paper. It depicts a scene of a man riding a horse and people following in a horse-drawn carriage. The shapes are defined and textured with thin lines, and they are given dimension with varying values of color. Much of the work contains neutral colors, though the main elements have bright colors that draw the eye. The background is empty, while the foreground contains much detail. At the bottom of the work, cursive text reads, Au diable la Poussiere.....(ils ne me passeront pas.). The bottom right reads Lith. de Delpech.

The original artist and drawer of this work is Eugène-Louis Lami, and the lithographer and printer of this particular print is Francois Seraphin Delpech.
