Untitled

Public Deposited

This piece is the fifty-third of a two hundred series print collection by Gustave Singier, a Belgian painter and printmaker known for their non-figurative style. By the way the shapes and colors interact, one can see it has Cubist and Fauvist elements. Some aspects are in the foreground and others suggest there is more beneath the predominant color palette. These features are common in Singier's lithographs, they are abstract compositions that draw the eye in and around the print.

Gustave Singier (1909-1984). Belgian/French artist.
