Photograph of the interior of Hendricks Library. Built as the college library in 1903 as gift from Mrs. Eliza C. Hendricks, wife of Thomas A. Hendricks. Thomas A. Hendricks graduated from Hanover College in 1840. He served as the 16th governor of Indiana from 1873-1877 and vice president of the United States under Grover Cleveland in 1885. In 1952, the building was converted to classrooms after the completion of the new library.
