Portrait of Milo Jesse Bowman. Born 1 July 1874, in Madison, Indiana, he attended Hanover College and graduated with his A.B. in 1896 and his A.M. in 1898. He received his L.L.B. from Indiana Law School in 1902. He was a professor of law at both Valparaiso University and Indiana University (Bloomington). He also served as interim president of Valparaiso University for six months in 1922. He died in Valparaiso, Indiana, on 30 January 1948.
