Lincoln in Dalivision

Public Deposited

This work is an original lithograph that is based of a Salvador Dali painting entitled 'Gala Contemplating the Mediterranean Sea which at a Distance of 20 meters is transformed into the Portrait of Abraham Lincoln (Homage to Rothko)', and it is signed by Dali. It depicts a female figure gazing out a window at a sea. Viewing this piece from a distance a portrait of Abraham Lincoln appears in a pixel form. The majority of the image is done in warm colors, majorly different shades of orange. Neutral colors are used around the edges of the piece. There is a balance of light and dark, as the outline of Lincoln's portrait uses darker colors and the rest of the image is in lighter color.
