- Abstract
There must be some mechanism for heat loss that we as humans can consistently rely on no matter the circumstance other than evaporation. If this mechanism exists and can be successfully implemented in everyday life, we as humans can push our bodies to feats unknown in environments both hostile and neutral. Forced conduction as a heat loss mechanism, is a rare circumstance because not many times during exercise does the person who is exercising naturally stay in consistent contact with a surface that is colder than their skin. This study investigates the mechanism of forced conduction, a concept not well studied or implemented in real life, effectiveness on heat dissipation and as an overall thermoregulatory aid as opposed to forced convection and natural convection.
