Scope and Content: This collection centers on the coaching career of C.V. Red Money who coached football and basketball at Hanover College from 1927-1932. Types of materials include: correspondence, newspapers, bulletins, pamphlets, playbooks, tickets, intramural sports pamphlets, photographs, Greek life items such as dance as images and information about the first night game at Hanover.

Historical Note: Cloyd V. Big Red Money was born on 21 February 1901 in Jay County, Indiana. From a young age Money developed a love for sports. He studied at Ohio Northern University, where he eventually lettered in four varsity sports. In 1927 Money accepted a position at Hanover College, serving as the head coach for basketball, football, and baseball. He was the head football coach from 1927-1931 and the head basketball coach from 1927-1932. After leaving Hanover in 1932, he went on to become the Head Basketball and Football Coach at the University of Louisville (1932), Ferris State University (1940-41), and Northern Michigan University (1947-1956).
