Scope and Content: The Clarence Dryden Papers span from 1898 to 1961 and document his life and work as a member of the Hanover College Committee of Alumni Trustees. Topics include the rebuilding of Classic Hall, the Donner Challengers, lists of donors, lists of donated money, a few Phi Gamma Delta items, his graduation invitation, his grade school report cards, his daughter’s graduation invitation, and the Hanover College Bulletin. Historical Note: Clarence Dryden was born 15 October 1880. Dryden married Sarah Lewis Wallace. Dryden was a student at Hanover College and served on the Hanover Board of Trustees from 1939-1965. He died in April 1965.
