Scope and Content: The Frankie Leonhard Papers documents the life and family history of Frankie Leonhard 1903-1910. The collection includes bible pages, diplomas, photographs, Science notes, letters, lyrics, notes, and other writings. Most items in the collection are from Leonhard’s time as a student at Hanover College.

Historical Note: Frankie Leonhard was born 2 December 1885 in Jefferson, Indiana. She attended Hanover College and graduated with a degree in Science and an Indiana Teaching Certificate in 1907. She married Robert D. McHenry in Indiana in 1914. She later moved to Minnesota and worked as a teacher. Frankie Leonhard McHenry died 15 September 1971 in Hanover, Indiana.
