Pictured in this poster print is an owl perched in a tree. The artist, Don Eckelberry was most known for his bird painting and appears to have numerous collections of lithographs and offset prints. The Barred Owl is in the second series of this collection, and is the first plates print. Brush strokes in what was initially a painting are incredibly visible in pieces of the print. For example, the hanging fauna next to owl has visible brush strokes. The presence and color of the hanging fauna also make the owl itself stand out.
