Frances Myers (1936-2014). American artist.

This print is the 23rd print of a 25 print series by Frances Myers, it is titled House Beautiful. After looking at a print earlier in the collection, one could notice the loss of vibrancy among the print. In earlier prints more orange and magenta were presented, this prints reveals more of a mauve and golden yellow. The texture in the print is the result of an embossing press, which is a type of press that allows the design to be printed and raised off the paper.
